Ghana, officially called the Republic of Ghana, is located in West Africa and has 27 million inhabitants (2014). The official language is English, which is spoken by approximately 70% of the population. Other languages spoken include Akuapem Twi, Assante Twi, Ewe, Dagaare, among others. According to the 2010 US Census, there were 91,000 Ghanaians living in the US.
