Mexico is part of North America and is the largest Spanish-speaking country in the Americas, with a population of over 100 million. Mexicans also make up the largest ethnicity of Latinos in the United States. There are several indigenous languages spoken by Mexicans, but more 95% speak Spanish.
Like any large country, there are strong regional differences in cuisine, with crops popular in one region are not known in another.
